Characters
Lorelei: A dazzling blonde with the most wonderful mixture of sweetness, naivety, and downright practicality to be found in one person. She is seldom perturbed by any situation; her ample & utterly amazing fund of philosophic knowledge always saves the day.
Dorothy: An attractive brunette. She is a good-natured sport with a somewhat caustic sense of humor. Although she is Lorelei’s best friend, she continues to be baffled at the workings pf Lorelei’s mind.
Daddy: A big, gruff, rawboned man. He can be hardheaded in a business deal, but Lorelei has no trouble wrapping him around her finger.
Bert: An attractive young man who is a tennis pro.
Sam: A flamboyant young man who imagines himself a writer.
The Captain: He is a stern, rather stuffy man who manages his ship with an iron hand.
Mrs. Van Osborne: An aggressive middle-aged woman with social aspirations.
Sylvia Van Osborne: Mrs. Van Osborne’s flapper daughter.
Mrs. Van Austin: She is also a social climber.
Margaret Van Austin: Mrs. Van Austin’s meek and plain daughter.
Mrs. Spoffard: A sweet, elderly lady who is hardly allowed to take a breath without permission. There is an air of constant bewilderment about her.
Henry: He is a naive, proper man. He has grown up in the lap of luxury and has rarely made a decision for himself.
Miss Chapman: She is around 35, a militant woman who is never bewildered by anything.
Aunt Dolly: She is a squarely built middle-aged woman who is a crusader. She declaims rather than speaks.
Broussard, Sr.: Dapper Frenchman
Broussard, Jr.: Son of Mnsr. Broussard, Sr., a dapper Frenchman.
Chambermaid: Young, friendly, and sweet.
Extras: young men, young women, stewards, a porter who is excitable, & hotel manager who is a correct man.

Harmony Theatre is looking forward to many future musical and non-musical productions. All auditions are open to any interested persons.
We strive to share our God-given spiritual gifts and talents with all of you. We provide a safe and open community for all, supporting local churches, and producing top-notch community theater.
Mt. Zion Fall Festival 2025
Where's My Scare?
Learner and Lowes Camelot was a huge success this summer! We saw audience members from three years old to ninety-eight come together and enjoy a classic.
Thank you to all our patrons and volunteers for helping to make our season successful.
We continue to be blessed by Mt. Zion UMC and are immensely grateful for their support.
